Welcome to Acumentech. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products and services from Acumentech. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Acumentech is a South African registered business. All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to South African law.
All product prices displayed on our website are inclusive of 15% Value Added Tax (VAT) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to market fluctuations, exchange rate variations, and supplier price adjustments.
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours, or other content are error-free, complete, or current. If a product is materially different from its description, you may return it in accordance with our returns policy.
Live pricing is sourced from our distributors and may change in real time. The price at the time of order confirmation is the price you will pay, subject to stock availability.
Placing a product in your cart does not reserve that item. An order is placed when you complete the checkout process and receive an order confirmation via email. Acumentech reserves the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to stock unavailability, payment failure, or suspected fraud.
If we are unable to fulfil your order due to stock constraints, we will notify you and issue a full refund for the affected items.
Payment is processed securely via PayFast, a South African payment gateway. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, and other PayFast-supported methods. Payments are processed at the time of order. Your payment information is handled directly by PayFast and is never stored by Acumentech.
For approved corporate clients, 60-day payment terms may be available upon application. Please contact us for more information.
We deliver to addresses across South Africa. Orders placed before 11:00 AM on business days are typically dispatched the same day via courier. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order value. Acumentech is not liable for delays caused by the courier service or events beyond our reasonable control.
You may return a product within 7 calendar days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided the item is in its original packaging, unused, and in resaleable condition. To initiate a return, please contact us at craig@acumentech.co.za or call 083 653 6298.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item. The original shipping fee is non-refundable, and you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Software licences and digital products are non-returnable and non-refundable once the licence key has been issued or the product has been downloaded.
All hardware products carry the manufacturer's standard warranty. Warranty periods vary by product and brand. Acumentech will assist with warranty claims on behalf of the customer, but the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty apply.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, unauthorised modification, normal wear and tear, or force majeure events.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Acumentech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to the use of our products, services, or website.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a transaction shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of our website without our express written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website at any time without notice for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or us.
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected through our website is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
